While I was living in a bubble of chaos, I felt hurt and offended. My untamed thoughts created a story about poor me, which created a brew of unpleasant emotions for me to experience. It coloured my perception, the word "never" popped into my vocabulary, my energy vibration tanked to a level of disappointment, which embarrassingly equals ingratitude, and I lived in a bubble of victim consciousness for a few hours...oh poor me!
When I was drowning in raw emotion and thrashing to grab onto thoughts that would rescue me from my self-defeating predicament, a friend's concern and my concern that my yikkie disposition was hurting my friend provided a lifeline that popped me out my mental mess part way through the day.
The vibration of love changed everything. It always does.
I learned a lot
Falling out of contact with gratitude for a few hours disconnected me from joy. Sounds elementary, and in theory it is--the experience of falling from joy into disappointment and coming back into gratitude and joy was profound.
Emotions, and the thoughts that create emotions, create a field of POTENTIAL. The vibration of URGH and disappointment result in words like "never and always". This energy vibration's low potential can only attract experiences to be disappointed about and ungrateful for.
Needless to say, the thoughts and emotions that result in vibrating at the level of love and joy creates a field of POTENTIAL that contains unlimited experiences of love and joy to be grateful for.
This unpleasant experience underlines the necessity of using gratitude as a spiritual tool to lift our vibration into the field of potential called JOY and LOVE.
