Rescue Dog's Miracle

Our pain management guru, Connie-pups, or perhaps the people around her, wove miracles with positive intentions and prayer bolded in her story below: 

Connie, an elderly dog with advanced osteo-arthritis, was surrendered by loving owners who could not offer medical care. 

HART Rescue’s mandate to improve dog's lives through fostering, behavior training and veterinary care aligned with my desire to foster to use my healing gifts to help dogs. Connie got healthier and stronger and I wished she had more psychological stimulation, like a companion dog or cat and a larger “sniffier” back yard. 

As we dreamed a big dream for Connie the Universe was making moves. When Connie came to HART a family who was fostering another dog wanted Connie, the timing wasn’t right, she needed to be with me … and then the magic happened ... their dog was adopted, I got injured, Connie had to go up for fostering, and 

                                                             BOOM! 

The stars aligned, the family that wanted Connie took her in, and, wait for it, here comes the miracle . . .  

Connie's new home has a dog, two cats, a doggy-door to a large “sniffier” backyard, AND she gets to go camping! It's doggy heaven!

Our highest intentions and prayers for Connie were answered. 

Connie. the unintended pain management guru’s journey demonstrates: 

• Energy medicine and prayers work: MIRACLES HAPPEN, but maybe not exactly the way we expect...it didn't heal her arthritis, it made the best of her life.
• Knowing what you want, acting in alignment with It and letting the Universe do Its part is a recipe for miracles.
• Connie sweetly and patiently surrendered to the Universe and the Universe surrendered to Connie. 

As bittersweet bon voyages go: the forecast is extreme happiness that Connie-Pups got the dream life we wanted for her, sprinkled a few tears...I miss my Connie-girl.

Reiki & Retraining an Abused Dog

Further to my post on February 28, 2012, it took about 5 days to assess Meeko's problems. When I started treating Meeko with Reiki I asked for a clear assessment and Meeko delivered. 

He simply would not go out unless someone stood outside with him. He was terrified when men came home whether he was alone or not, and in fact pee'd a little one time when my sons came in. He was terrified to stay home alone. The first time we left him alone he pooped in the house, when I came home he pee’d a little by the door.

That defined the problem. The former owner admitted he had “forgotten to mention that”…gee, thanks. He said if my son returned Meeko he’d simply put him on the online selling site and get rid of him again. We knew Meeko would continue to be abused if we didn’t help him. My son provided the love and commitment required for Meeko’s success when he decided to keep him.

I used the Distance Symbol to send Reiki back to the Source of the problem. I used the Emotional Symbol to calm his raw emotions and I grounded him into the safety of our home and family. Wow, Meeko trusted me immediately. More importantly, he has never had any type of accident our home since the first time he was left alone.

The humane society recommended a couple of books and gave a fabulous description of Meeko’s psychological problem: the inadequately trained pet is gets in trouble when people come home. Period.

During early training dogs don’t make the connection that peeing and pooping in the house causes people to react badly. Consequently, when people go out the pet gets incredibly anxious because they believe they will be abused when the people return home, this upsets its digestive system which causes it to ‘go’ in the house which assures the people will abuse the animal when they get home—a self-fulfilling prophecy and the cycle continues. Meeko’s reactions made it quite clear he was beaten, screamed at and left outside in bad weather conditions.

We desensitized Meeko by confusing the cues that triggered his anxiety, then we ignorred his anxiety. For example my son picked up his car keys and walked around the house, watched TV, etc. jingling keys, then he put them down and didn’t go out. This type of “exiting” activity brought Meeko’s anxiety up, we ignored him—no cajoling, no trying to calm him, no assuring him of anything. We let him experience his anxiety until he calmed down himself. The other part of the training was for my son to leave, my job was to ignore Meeko until he calmed down. After he calmed down I picked up my keys, put on my coat or boots and stayed home. We also ignorred Meeko until he calmed down when we came home. It took one day to change the pattern. We did it for another couple of days. We praised Meeko to the MAX for good behaviour. When he "went" outside the whole family congratulated, hugged and patted him for going outside on his own.

Meeko is a fabulous success. I can’t get on my soapbox and say this was an all-Reiki success, but, knowing that Reiki brings the elements of healing together, it collapses time, speeds the process and amplifies success of healing, I believe Reiki had a lot to do with Meeko’s success.

The law of love, GIVE, is a beautiful thing. Ending Meeko's ongoing tragedy called forth our unique gifts…our giving came back to us through the love of this majestic, well-behaved dog.

Attune to a Higher Power

Reiki has a loop-hole that allows anyone to be attuned to channel Reiki to themselves and others without taking the whole training program.

How Attraction Works

Shifts

The shift in consciousness we seek reflects as physical shifts such as the earthquakes in Japan, New Zealand, Haiti, and as physical unrest in other parts of the world. What Breaks my Heart

I Reiki because I care. I offer free distance Reiki because I don't want people to suffer alone and I want to them to have every possible advantage to achieve better health.

In my blog I offered to Reiki people considering suicide, someone close to me didn't want Reiki and took their own life.

A friend who was hopelessly battling a bowel disease accepted Reiki, his life straighten out and in four months the surgeon found things "so healed in there" that he removed the bag, reattached the bowel, rebooted his system and he is doing great...yippie yahoo! Just as I was celebrating with that friend another friend flatly refused Reiki to support his minor-by-comparison-bowel surgery, blah blah, six months later he ended up in palliative care....heartbreaking for everyone around him!

Seriously, if you are reading this post it was written for you and this is the message: it can't hurt to add Reiki to your treatment, it may not change anything, but it might create an energy pathway for a miracle to happen, and, if nothing else, you won't be alone.

Pay it Forward

I watched the movie "Pay it Forward" this weekend, what an incredible movie.

I was blessed with an early introduction to paying it forward. My Aunt was widowed when her daughter was a year old, she had to work when most Mommies were home with their babies.

When my cousin was ready to go to school, my Aunt found a babysitter close to the school to babysit my cousin while she was in first grade. At the end of the month when it was time to pay the babysitter, the babysitter said, "No. I don't want money."

My Aunt said, "But our agreement was that I would pay you at the end of the month."

The babysitter said, "Yes that is the agreement, but I don't want money, when someone needs help I want you to help them."

This generous babysitter's words became a guiding principle in my life.

"Paying it Forward" does not work unless there is both a giver and a receiver. Each of us must give but we must also be willing to receive what it is offered to us with love for our higher good.

Having clarified that, Distance Reiki is offered to those who need it and are willing to accept it from me.

Resistant Cases

Generally Reiki is undertaken with a specific intention in mind, but sometimes no matter how hard we try, we don't get the results we hoped for--it's disappointing and it's frustrating.

Reiki Practitioners are instruments of Reiki but Reiki clearly belongs to the Creator and works according to the Creator's will.

Administer Reiki, know it always works, then look for the demonstration of change, if the change you wanted doesn't manifest, broaden your view, shift your focus and look at the ways the person has grown or how their life has changed around them.

Sometimes before the healing we want can occur on the physical level the client must release blocked energy and negative energy connections and make minute or gargantuan changes in the other aspects of their life.

Perhaps a new job, a new relationship, a renewed spiritual focus, a crisis of spiritual, mental, emotional, or physical nature, or releasing addictions, etc., etc., must occur to shape the client's life so it will change and heal in ways that improve life dramatically around the initial problem without actually changing it.

We Reiki resistant clients with faith, we trust the process and release it to our Spiritual Helpers to continue our work. I keep notes of Reiki treatments and look back in a year to see the healing (change) that has "miraculously" occurred, I have not been disappointed yet.

Gillian Barre

My cousin contracted Gillian Barre one day. His status as an able bodied person disintegrated from healthy to paralyzed from the neck down and on a respirator in 12 hours, the prognosis was anything but promising. He landed in the big city ICU but in 3 months there was no progress. He was alive, he communicated by blinking, but he was paralyzed, in limbo as it were, with a noisy machine forcing him to breathe.

We stood by helplessly. One of my cousins got the brainwave that a few of us should take Reiki to see if we could help him, we were so desperate to end his limbo in ICU that we signed up for a course.

When we learned how to do "distance Reiki" during our 1st and 2nd Degree Reiki training, we all directed our healing energy toward our cousin with Gillian Barre in ICU. We hoped for the best but didn't expect much to happen...later we learned that our cousin began talking and talking and talking within 15 minutes of our Distance Reiki Treatment .


We continued to "hands-on" and Distance Reiki daily, within 2 weeks of the first Distance Reiki Treatment our cousin progressed so quickly he was moved into a regular ward, then into rehab, then home in a wheelchair but he still had a significant amount of fine motor skill impairment.

A few years later my cousin was frustrated, in spite a great amount of physio and exercise he was stuck at a disappointing plateau. He wanted to walk and to work.

We offered to do synchronized Distance Reiki 3 times per week for 9 weeks. During the treatments most of the remaining fine motor skill impairment vanished, he was stronger in every way including his legs, but still he couldn't walk. We were thrilled that he recovered his fine motor skills and strength, but we were disappointed that he couldn't walk.

We thought we had done all we could do, then the Universe bent over backwards to accomodate and utilize him as he was.

Out of the blue he was offered a part-time job, that led to a job offer with more frills. One of those frills included a cost-free upgrade on his van so he could independantly drive anywhere and load and unload himself and his wheelchair. Then he landed an even better job.

Reiki always works...according to the Creator's will, not your will or mine....and not always in the ways we expect! With Reiki my cousin is alive, healthy and living the "starring role" in his life...without Reiki who knows what would have happened?

I am in awe of and grateful for Reiki, we followed our hunch and learned Reiki, an "odd ball" alternative healing modality and it ended up playing a miraculous role in my cousin's recovery from Gillian Barre.

Energy Repellant

Some people have wonderful energy that people and animals are attracted to and other people have yikkie energy that wards people off. If you stick around trying to get along with people who have negative energy for too long they will bring your vibration down and you will lose energy, and yes it can make you ill.

Stay away from people who have "Energy Repellant" on unless you want to damage or waste your energy field.

Always ask the person you Reiki if they want Reiki. If they say yes, but during your hands-on Reiki treatment your hands feel repelled or pushed off, STOP Reiki'ing in that area and move quietly to the next area. If your hands feel repelled there also STOP the treatment and ask the person whether they are really willing to have a Reiki Treatment. If your hands continue to be repelled in all positions, stop the treatment, the person is not ready.

Reiki works on the physical, emotional, mental and spiritual bodies and it affects the past into eternity which also effects the present and future. If you feel repelled some of the person's body's may be ready to heal but other levels are not ready to heal. To persist may cause the person a serious crisis.

Practitioners with 2nd Degree Reiki and higher often Distance Reiki complete strangers. For example I send Reiki when drive past a bad car accident. As I am sending the Reiki I "intend" for it to go to the person only IF they want the Reiki.

When Distance Reiki is repelled you will feel "blocked" or feel the energy pushed or hurled back at you. When you feel repelled STOP until you can ask for permission, or until you feel spiritual permission has been granted. I've only been repelled three times in almost 15 years.

Trust yourself to know who you are supposed to help with Reiki.

Miracles

I am grateful for the spontaneous healings that miraculously occur when we pray and Reiki.

I am grateful for people who use their spiritual connection and love of other and their language and their spiritual and religious beliefs to turn on the Light & Love in their families, their communities, and their countries.
