This creates a void in the body and energy field which the Energy Worker fills with healing intentions, life-giving thoughts, desirable outcomes and, of course, the potent energy of Reiki itself. 

Energy Medicine collapses the time it takes to release negative energy and offers immediate access to high vibration energy--a higher level of consciousness. The massive shift in the energy field offers the client an immediate opportunity to work with higher conscious than they they could access without treatment. It accelerates the client's capacity to accept and work with a higher degree of consciousness, wholeness, health, prosperity, love, and success.

My first Reiki attunement opened an avenue for the clear-cut connection to Christ Consciousness I was born with to work through. If not for Reiki I would not have known my hands could be tools for healing.

Reiki gives us permission to be the healers we were born to be. It unleashes the latent healer within.

As a Reiki teacher I've witnessed non-healers, even non believers, birth into healers as a direct result of the attunement process. The latent healer within suddenly emerged. Perfect, whole, complete and ready to Reiki.

When Elizabeth, a beautiful native women, came unleashed after her 1st Degree Reiki attunement, she did not follow the Reiki Treatment protocol I was teaching the rest of the class. She moved her hands and the client's energy hither & tither. Her body seemed to curl like smoke off an ancient flame. She went home to become a legendary healer in her northern community. Reiki'ing Rescued Dog

My son rescued a beautiful purebred german shepherd dog a week ago. Smart. Well-mannered. Quiet. Fantastic with kids, adults and other pets.  But--is there a but?

Argh! Of course there's a but! His timidity is the result of a lifetime of abuse and neglect. But he poops and pees in the house.

And yet more buts! But there is a higher plan for Meeko. He is here for a reason. Although my son wasn't looking for a dog who needed so much care, people refer to him as a 'dog whisperer' who is willing to give his all to this wonderful dog. It's a good fit for both of them.

For my part, it's at times like these that I am so grateful to have Reiki. I will use Reiki to clear the negative energy and fill with positive energy knowing it will help this very special dog to get healthy. 

He's come a long way in seven days. I'll keep you posted.

What Breaks my Heart

I Reiki because I care. I offer free distance Reiki because I don't want people to suffer alone and I want to them to have every possible advantage to achieve better health.

In my blog I offered to Reiki people considering suicide, someone close to me didn't want Reiki and took their own life.

A friend who was hopelessly battling a bowel disease accepted Reiki, his life straighten out and in four months the surgeon found things "so healed in there" that he removed the bag, reattached the bowel, rebooted his system and he is doing great...yippie yahoo! Just as I was celebrating with that friend another friend flatly refused Reiki to support his minor-by-comparison-bowel surgery, blah blah, six months later he ended up in palliative care....heartbreaking for everyone around him!

Seriously, if you are reading this post it was written for you and this is the message: it can't hurt to add Reiki to your treatment, it may not change anything, but it might create an energy pathway for a miracle to happen, and, if nothing else, you won't be alone.

Rocking and Reiki'ing Preemie Babies

Rocking and Reiki'ing babies at the hospital has always been on my "bucket list", my love and gratitude for my beautiful healthy grand-daughter prompted me to begin volunteering now.

Babies and children are gifts, I have time to Reiki yours too.

Blessed be that my first grandchild, a beautiful healthy girl was born in November. She has brought so much love and light with her.

"The Stork" (see post May 27, 2009) brought a strapping baby boy to his loving family just before Christmas.

Flu Season

I don't have much time these days to blog but I make time to Reiki every day, as the flu season begins in the northern hemisphere please contact me if you would like free Distance Reiki to tide you and or your family over the flu season.

Coma

My sister-in-law asked me to Reiki her brother-in-law with her. He had been in a coma for 11 days in ICU after a devastating highway motor cycle accident in which he and his motorcycle went straight off a curved road, he somersalted a couple of times, when he landed he slammed his head and back on the hard ground.

While we went in to Reiki, his family sat in the waiting room. Knowing we were intruding on a man who didn't ask us to Reiki him, we averted our eyes as much possible during the treatment to give him the highest level of privacy while giving a proper treatment to the areas most needing Reiki.

We started at the top of his head and worked down his body. We felt incredible heat and energy release in the areas of bruising and broken bones.


When we got to his feet I said, "Elaine, I really feel like we need to ground him into his body." We reached up above his head, grabbed the energy and pulled it down into his feet, holding it there for a moment, repeating the process a few times.

"Elaine." We looked out in the corridor to see who was calling. "Elaine". We looked at the man's face, he was looking at Elaine with his eyes open, then he said, "I gotta take a dump".

Elaine told him he had been in an accident, he was in the hospital, we were doing Reiki, and she'd call the nurse to attend to him. She pressed the call button, we finished his treatment in lightening speed and high-tailed it out of the room!

The doctors reassessed him in his newfound conscious state, when they gave the all clear, his family went in to see him. About five minutes later his wife burst into the waiting room with tears running down her face, I thought, "Oh Lord! What did we do?"

Elaine jumped up asking, "What happened?"

"He's talking! This is a miracle! What did you guys do?"

Always the skeptic, I said, "Well, maybe it was his time to wake up."

"How much proof do you need? He's been in a coma for 11 days, you guys did Reiki and now he is conscious and he's talking to us, that is a miracle!"

He moved quickly out of ICU and home. When he talked about his experience, he reported that when he was in a coma he saw the layout of the waiting room and knew where people were sitting (he was never in that room before or after his accident, it had a weird configuration, a side room, that he described. He couldn't have known this unless he saw it). His experience coincides with other people's descriptions of "out of body" experiences when they are unconscious.

The last thing he remembered was being loaded into the airlift, the first thing he remembered was he had been airlifted to a foreign country where Elaine and I were doing voodoo-Reiki on him!--we eventually forgave him for referring to Reiki as Voodoo!

Resistant Cases

Generally Reiki is undertaken with a specific intention in mind, but sometimes no matter how hard we try, we don't get the results we hoped for--it's disappointing and it's frustrating.

Reiki Practitioners are instruments of Reiki but Reiki clearly belongs to the Creator and works according to the Creator's will.

Administer Reiki, know it always works, then look for the demonstration of change, if the change you wanted doesn't manifest, broaden your view, shift your focus and look at the ways the person has grown or how their life has changed around them.

Sometimes before the healing we want can occur on the physical level the client must release blocked energy and negative energy connections and make minute or gargantuan changes in the other aspects of their life.

Perhaps a new job, a new relationship, a renewed spiritual focus, a crisis of spiritual, mental, emotional, or physical nature, or releasing addictions, etc., etc., must occur to shape the client's life so it will change and heal in ways that improve life dramatically around the initial problem without actually changing it.

We Reiki resistant clients with faith, we trust the process and release it to our Spiritual Helpers to continue our work. I keep notes of Reiki treatments and look back in a year to see the healing (change) that has "miraculously" occurred, I have not been disappointed yet.

Reiki'ing Terminally Ill Patients

Reiki is a blessing to the terminally ill. Hands on Reiki provides comfort, pain relief and peace. It provides time and space for the patient to be with the Reiki Practitioner in quiet rest and meditation without having to use energy to talk or entertain.

Reiki is hands-on prayer. A bone-cancer patient said, "Reiki is like the peace of God washing over me." Terminal cancer patients reported Reiki as their best relief from pain, it was one of their only requests.

If someone close to you has been diagnosed with a terminal disease, get your 1st and 2nd Reiki Practitioner Degrees so you can offer "hands on" and "distance Reiki". Then Reiki the person as often as you can and, this is very important, intend for the person to HEAL COMPLETELY. Continue to Reiki the person no matter what until they no longer need Reiki.

Reiki is "hands on" prayer, it is "hands on" hope. To Reiki is to believe in miracles, to believe in miracles is to create them. Miracles happen every day. Sometimes people diagnosed with terminal diseases heal. Sometimes the case is declared a "misdiagnosis". Sometimes a terminal diagnosis is downgraded to a different disease. Sometimes the disease does not follow the expected prognosis and the person lives longer than expected and enjoys their life to its peaceful end.

Reiki always works, it helps in a positive way, it enhances every other treatment modality and never causes harm. Reiki Practitioners are the "hands on" intention and prayer of a loving Creator who is in control of the outcome, it is sad when a life slips away in spite of all we do.
