Bombs are Energy

At the atomic level, bombs are explosions of energy traveling with so much speed and force that everything in the way is destroyed. It's utterly heartbreaking. (Tornadoes are an example of energy in motion.)
 

"We" don't have power over what happens (who does what to whom). "We", the collective consciousness of humanity, have jurisdiction over world peace. 
 

People are not private energy forms. What we think, feel and do resonates through our personal energy field as it SIMULTANEOUSLY REVERBERATES THROUGHOUT THE WORLD. (Yes you are that powerful!) 

The collection of human thoughts and emotions creates great waves and shifts in the collective consciousness that shifts civilization--as 9/11 did. 

FEAR is a public enemy #1. Fear causes people to focus on emotionally charged "what will happen to me" rather than on fact-based, speculation and opinion-free "what actually happened". It causes people to jump to judgements and decisions and to speak and act in uncharacteristic ways that pump up the chaos, e.g. fb posts.
 

How we react individually adds to the momentum of peace or war. Bringing ourselves into the energy of compassion allows us as a person and as a people to pause, collect and consider facts and to calculate the long-term consequences of our words and actions. 
 

The hallmark to create balance rather than chaos is:
 

"Do unto others as you would have them do unto you"...your babies, your family, your country.

 

This resonates with balance and compassion. It puts fact finding, deliberating and deciding into a balanced state of compassion that is essential to world peace. As individuals and as a people, the best we can do is to be in a state of compassion before we speak and act.

Hope for Your Million Dollar Insight

My dad called a steady, soaking rain at the beginning of June a "million-dollar rain" for the farmers in our region.

Every year the ever-faithful farmers muster up enough faith to plant their seeds into the dusty soil, somehow they knew a soaking rain would douse the seeds into fertility and life would spring forth under the blessing of a hot sun and blue skies. The prairie would burst into green, before striking gold and a bountiful harvest would pour forth year after year.

We are like farmers. Our thoughts are seeds we plant into the soil of our subconscious mind. We prepare the soil of our subconscious with forgiveness, love, affirmative prayer, Truth, and spiritual practice to our highest capacity within collective consciousness. Like one wheat seed produces a multitude of wheat seeds, our thoughts burgeon forth, overflowing and producing forms, experiences and conditions bearing the likeness to the thoughts we planted, and we reap the good we sowed.

What my Dad referred as a "million dollar rain", seeding in desolate conditions, preparing the soil, having faith, and expecting a bountiful harvest, was a blueprint for how to incubate million dollar ideas. Thanks Dad!

Spring Cleaning your Energy Field

The "I don't wanna's", the "not nows", the "I'll do it laters", the laziness, procrastination, passing it off, or plain old just not doing it that is intended to save energy and effort in the moment actually drains energy  like a gigantic tornado sucking the life out of you and everyone around you.

How Energy Medicine, Reiki, Works -- Part. Two

Within the constructs of the good and bad that happens in our lives, how our lives take form and the quality of our lives is created from what we think and believe.

Beliefs are habitual thought patterns laden with pleasant or unpleasant emotions and experiences. Thoughts create emotions. 

The energy of our thoughts, beliefs and emotions create a resonance that attracts conditions with a similar resonance, like attracts like. 

Imagine the energy a temper tantrum or telling some one off attracts (and deflects), as opposed to the energy attracted and deflected when you help someone in need or rock a baby.

How Energy Medicine, Reiki, Works; Part One. New Thought, New Life

Thoughts are creative. This principle of creation governs the quality of life. 

The intelligence of the universe, thought or "the word", acts on energy, energy forms into matter and experiences. Everything that exists is a product of supreme intelligence that is governing and flowing through all of creation coupled with energy coupled with our own thoughts. 

While to a large degree the thoughts we have thought and are thinking are governing what we experience in our lives, we can't possibly control the Universe or be responsible for everything that happens, what we have complete control of are the thoughts we think and how we respond. This is our part in the co-creation process.

Reiki: Christ Consciousness

My first Reiki attunement opened an avenue for the clear-cut connection to Christ Consciousness I was born with to work through. If not for Reiki I would not have known my hands could be tools for healing.

Reiki gives us permission to be the healers we were born to be. It unleashes the latent healer within.

As a Reiki teacher I've witnessed non-healers, even non believers, birth into healers as a direct result of the attunement process. The latent healer within suddenly emerged. Perfect, whole, complete and ready to Reiki.

When Elizabeth, a beautiful native women, came unleashed after her 1st Degree Reiki attunement, she did not follow the Reiki Treatment protocol I was teaching the rest of the class. She moved her hands and the client's energy hither & tither. Her body seemed to curl like smoke off an ancient flame. She went home to become a legendary healer in her northern community. The Reiki Attunement provided permissionl.

Reiki & Retraining an Abused Dog

Further to my post on February 28, 2012, it took about 5 days to assess Meeko's problems. When I started treating Meeko with Reiki I asked for a clear assessment and Meeko delivered. 

He simply would not go out unless someone stood outside with him. He was terrified when men came home whether he was alone or not, and in fact pee'd a little one time when my sons came in. He was terrified to stay home alone. The first time we left him alone he pooped in the house, when I came home he pee’d a little by the door.

That defined the problem. The former owner admitted he had “forgotten to mention that”…gee, thanks. He said if my son returned Meeko he’d simply put him on the online selling site and get rid of him again. We knew Meeko would continue to be abused if we didn’t help him. My son provided the love and commitment required for Meeko’s success when he decided to keep him.

I used the Distance Symbol to send Reiki back to the Source of the problem. I used the Emotional Symbol to calm his raw emotions and I grounded him into the safety of our home and family. Wow, Meeko trusted me immediately. More importantly, he has never had any type of accident our home since the first time he was left alone.

The humane society recommended a couple of books and gave a fabulous description of Meeko’s psychological problem: the inadequately trained pet is gets in trouble when people come home. Period.

During early training dogs don’t make the connection that peeing and pooping in the house causes people to react badly. Consequently, when people go out the pet gets incredibly anxious because they believe they will be abused when the people return home, this upsets its digestive system which causes it to ‘go’ in the house which assures the people will abuse the animal when they get home—a self-fulfilling prophecy and the cycle continues. Meeko’s reactions made it quite clear he was beaten, screamed at and left outside in bad weather conditions.

We desensitized Meeko by confusing the cues that triggered his anxiety, then we ignorred his anxiety. For example my son picked up his car keys and walked around the house, watched TV, etc. jingling keys, then he put them down and didn’t go out. This type of “exiting” activity brought Meeko’s anxiety up, we ignored him—no cajoling, no trying to calm him, no assuring him of anything. We let him experience his anxiety until he calmed down himself. The other part of the training was for my son to leave, my job was to ignore Meeko until he calmed down. After he calmed down I picked up my keys, put on my coat or boots and stayed home. We also ignorred Meeko until he calmed down when we came home. It took one day to change the pattern. We did it for another couple of days. We praised Meeko to the MAX for good behaviour. When he "went" outside the whole family congratulated, hugged and patted him for going outside on his own.

Meeko is a fabulous success. I can’t get on my soapbox and say this was an all-Reiki success, but, knowing that Reiki brings the elements of healing together, it collapses time, speeds the process and amplifies success of healing, I believe Reiki had a lot to do with Meeko’s success.

The law of love, GIVE, is a beautiful thing. Ending Meeko's ongoing tragedy called forth our unique gifts…our giving came back to us through the love of this majestic, well-behaved dog.

Energy Block

When energy, the life force, doesn’t flow through the energy field and body of a person, plant or animal at the vibrational essence from which it was created, it creates a block or void that allows illness or negativity to occur.

Positive change in the energy field, referred to as ‘healing’, has the potential to transform an individual and his or her life.

During the energy treatment blocked (negative) energy is removed, energy pathways are straightened, the individual’s energy field is attuned to Source energy and, like a quantum leap, time collapses. Attune to a Higher Power

Spiritual Gifts

It's interesting to note that spiritual gifts, like other gifts we give, are gifts we can give to others but not give to ourselves and not grab out and get for ourselves...it proves we use the gift but we don't own it; we are the author of our intention but not of the words themselves.

And so I lovingly and joyfully Reiki people around the world, they tell me it helps, some realize amazing results, but, to my frustration, the back and neck problem I got in to Reiki to repair remains. How rude!

Well, whatever. I will continue to Reiki myself daily while I Distance Reiki everyone else who asks.

What Breaks my Heart

I Reiki because I care. I offer free distance Reiki because I don't want people to suffer alone and I want to them to have every possible advantage to achieve better health.

In my blog I offered to Reiki people considering suicide, someone close to me didn't want Reiki and took their own life.

A friend who was hopelessly battling a bowel disease accepted Reiki, his life straighten out and in four months the surgeon found things "so healed in there" that he removed the bag, reattached the bowel, rebooted his system and he is doing great...yippie yahoo! Just as I was celebrating with that friend another friend flatly refused Reiki to support his minor-by-comparison-bowel surgery, blah blah, six months later he ended up in palliative care....heartbreaking for everyone around him!

Seriously, if you are reading this post it was written for you and this is the message: it can't hurt to add Reiki to your treatment, it may not change anything, but it might create an energy pathway for a miracle to happen, and, if nothing else, you won't be alone.

Suicide of Veterans

I heard that the world lost more vets from the Vietnam War to suicide than were lost during the war. That's a horrific statistic.

I can't promise that Reiki will change anyone's mind about taking their life, but maybe, just maybe, knowing that I will Distance Reiki, maybe knowing I know you and your life are worth my time, Reiki and prayers will help you get through to the better life you fought for.

Flu Season

I don't have much time these days to blog but I make time to Reiki every day, as the flu season begins in the northern hemisphere please contact me if you would like free Distance Reiki to tide you and or your family over the flu season.

Coma

My sister-in-law asked me to Reiki her brother-in-law with her. He had been in a coma for 11 days in ICU after a devastating highway motor cycle accident in which he and his motorcycle went straight off a curved road, he somersalted a couple of times, when he landed he slammed his head and back on the hard ground.

While we went in to Reiki, his family sat in the waiting room. Knowing we were intruding on a man who didn't ask us to Reiki him, we averted our eyes as much possible during the treatment to give him the highest level of privacy while giving a proper treatment to the areas most needing Reiki.

We started at the top of his head and worked down his body. We felt incredible heat and energy release in the areas of bruising and broken bones.


When we got to his feet I said, "Elaine, I really feel like we need to ground him into his body." We reached up above his head, grabbed the energy and pulled it down into his feet, holding it there for a moment, repeating the process a few times.

"Elaine." We looked out in the corridor to see who was calling. "Elaine". We looked at the man's face, he was looking at Elaine with his eyes open, then he said, "I gotta take a dump".

Elaine told him he had been in an accident, he was in the hospital, we were doing Reiki, and she'd call the nurse to attend to him. She pressed the call button, we finished his treatment in lightening speed and high-tailed it out of the room!

The doctors reassessed him in his newfound conscious state, when they gave the all clear, his family went in to see him. About five minutes later his wife burst into the waiting room with tears running down her face, I thought, "Oh Lord! What did we do?"

Elaine jumped up asking, "What happened?"

"He's talking! This is a miracle! What did you guys do?"

Always the skeptic, I said, "Well, maybe it was his time to wake up."

"How much proof do you need? He's been in a coma for 11 days, you guys did Reiki and now he is conscious and he's talking to us, that is a miracle!"

He moved quickly out of ICU and home. When he talked about his experience, he reported that when he was in a coma he saw the layout of the waiting room and knew where people were sitting (he was never in that room before or after his accident, it had a weird configuration, a side room, that he described. He couldn't have known this unless he saw it). His experience coincides with other people's descriptions of "out of body" experiences when they are unconscious.

The last thing he remembered was being loaded into the airlift, the first thing he remembered was he had been airlifted to a foreign country where Elaine and I were doing voodoo-Reiki on him!--we eventually forgave him for referring to Reiki as Voodoo!

Gratitude

I filed my taxes under the wire, I owe money.

In my early tax-paying life I read a story in the Reader's Digest that painted my own tax paying with sunshine.

The accountant nervously looked at the clock, she was expecting a farmer to come in to pay his first income taxes since immigrating to Canada.

When the man and his wife came in and sat across the desk, the accountant reluctantly handed the gentleman his $9,000.00 tax bill.

As the man read the bill he turned to his wife, "This is cheap rent to live in this country."

A touching story, a smile, laughter, a hug are strands of gratitude that elevates us and becomes part of our energy medicine, it heals our energy fields and our gratitude attracts abundance to us.
