Hope for Healing Substance Abuse, Addictions



When people can't escape long-term neglect or abuse or they have traumatic loss, the experience gets suppressed in the energy field like a tight knot that can be excruciatingly painful. Not being able to process and release the pain causes people to use substances, such as food, drugs, alcohol, to try to alleviate the pain. 


Trying to stop an addiction without healing the original wound compresses and compounds the problem rather than releasing it.

Removing negative energy and providing the energy you needed when you were wounded, stops pain for long enough for you to become aware of what you are experiencing when you want to “use”… your thoughts, emotions, memories and where it is stored in your body. When suppressed energy is released and processed you vibrate at a higher frequency and your energy field works like a magnet to attract everything you need to heal the original wound and release the addiction.

How Reiki or Energy Medicine Works with Mental Health

Although the "thinker" is perfect, thoughts can be healthy or unhealthy.  Habitual thoughts have incredibly powerful positive or negative charges. Their cumulative affects produce massive changes in the energy field, the body's chemistry, and the conditions of people's lives. The environment literally attunes to a  person's habitual thoughts.

If "thoughts are things" as Ernest Holmes believed, imagine if your habitual thoughts became matter and formed into the experiences and circumstances of your life.

In an energy treatment, thoughts are recognized as solid pieces of matter in the energy field. Negative thought patterns attract negative experiences. Addictions

If you are struggling to end an addiction, any addiction, including toxic relationships, request Distance Reiki.

Addictions

Everything, including medicine, is energy. Therefore everything can be impacted positively with Reiki which is energy. Addictions are complex and as with all medical and psychological issues, seek the appropriate medical advice and follow it. Period. While in treatment use Reiki to bolster and boost the effectiveness of your medical treatment and to make withdrawing an easier ride for yourself.

Reiki can be incredibly helpful when battling addictions.

From an energy perspective, addictions are huge voids or holes in the energy field that are caused by trauma, loss or lack. When the person experienced the painful void he or she may not have been in a position to deal with the void in a healthy manner and so chose to fill the void with an addictive substance. Using Reiki to fill the void lessens the addict's need to substance abuse while they resolve their addiction.

If you want to use Reiki to help yourself conquer an addiction you have a few options, the best option is to become a Reiki Practitioner and use Reiki to fill the void on a minute-to-minute basis to help combat the craving when it arises. The second best option is ask a Reiki Practitioner to Reiki you when you are craving. The third option is request Distance Reiki no matter what else you do.

The First option (becoming a Reiki Practitioner) is best because cravings are fleeting and sporatic and, as a Reiki Practitioner, you will be able to Reiki yourself immediately.
